A prayer for the page ahead
God, quiet the noise around me and within me.
Give me courage to begin, honesty in my words, and patience with what is still unfinished.
Help me write with care rather than fear, and listen deeply to the story I am trying to tell.
May these words offer understanding, hope, or companionship to the person who needs them.
Let me do today’s work faithfully, without needing to know where every sentence will lead.
Amen.
